I have a friend who is really losing it and i could really use a professional opinion if any professionals could spare a minute. 🙁

As your Doctor I strongly advise you to apply liberal doses of strippers and single malt scotch. A sure fire cure for any psychological malady.

What do you mean by 'losing it'?

Have they seen a doctor and done any blood work?

Sometimes something as simple as low Vitamin D can cause depression and confusion. Your friend should see a doctor and run blood work to see if there is a physical problem on any sort before deciding a psychiatrist is required over proper steps to solve a health issue.

What a waste of time. Scotch and strippers is the way to go. Throw in a good steak dinner to round things out.

Do something useful and write a song about suicide, scotch and strippers.

Call your doctor and ask him/her how to defend against the Ruy Lopez.

Things were getting crazy, you're losing it mate.
Have a couple shots of scotch, and a steak on a plate.

We're off to see the strippers, I just can not wait!
We're off to see the strippers!
We're off to see the strippers!

And if you say suicide one more time
I'm going to punch you in your yarbles!

ROCK ON!~

By losing it i mean he is having paranoid delusions where he invents situations in his head and then starts laying into people (friends) accusing them of all sorts of nasty stuff that is simply a figment of his imagination. I need some advice as i need to do something before he hurts himself. BTW, when i say friends i don't mean me... though he has done this to me in the past. It has happened so often now that something needs to be done. 🙁

Ask nice, don't say why... try and get them in to see a doctor for the blood work. There are so many chemical things that could be going wrong is my thinking.

HoH wanting to give scotch to such a person is bad advice in my mind, unless they are the 'have a few drinks and say I love you man kind of person. Doesn't sound like they would be.

Good luck.

It's interesting you suggest diet as he has recently been diagnosed with a massive list of intolerances. Gluten, sugar, wheat, lemons, the list is ridiculously long. He has spent most of the last 6 months throwing up and has been seeing a doctor regularly as a result. Maybe you have something there..thanks. 🙂
