My Pet Peeve: When I'm sitting in a Bible lesson, and to keep people involved, the leader will ask various people to read from the Bible. So they give the reference to the person, and after getting to the book, they have to ask for the chapter again, then they have to ask about the verses again. Keep it in your head people!
Originally posted by CoconutWhy don't they just tell them to get a bible, look up Mark (for instance), then chapter whatever, then verse whatever? Or is it too hard for them to disseminate information usefully? Oh, no, sorry that would be counterproductive to a bible lesson, wouldn't it?

Joe, get Acts 16:31
Sarah, get 1 Timothy 2:3
and then when getting to the person's turn to read, they often ask for the verse again.
