I am from Venice beach originally, my wife is 5th generation
Venetian! Anyway, Irvine is in the middle of valley girl country,
not much there. Hit the beach, Huntington beach, Newport beach,
Laguna beach and south on Interstate 5 a few miles more is a
nice place, Dana Point, nice vista there. You are a quite a ways
out from LA. Good sight seeing. What draws you to Irvine?
University of California there my guess.
Right now I am also away from home, which is pennsylvania, working
in a pukie town called Toledo Ohio. I am in the Comfort inn which
has a nice feature if you have a wireless laptop, wilreless connections
to all the rooms. The only reason I stay there! Right now its
superbowl weekend and the bastids doubled the prices from
60 bucks to 134 bucks a day for the next 5 or 6 days, friggin
robbery. Just so some idiots can play a stupid football game in
detroit about 40 miles north!

What does that mean, 'high aviability'? High availability?
Available everywhere? Does that mean stuff like Works for windows
and Excel and such?

Term for software that CAN'T crash. Because if it has a bug and crashes, BAD things happen. ie: life support, air traffic control, important stuff.

Boby, I don't know if you are a fan of hamburgers. If you are, do yourself a favor and go to "Fat Burger". There is one in Irvine. Other than that, take a trip to Laguna beach, it has quite possibly the highest percentage in california of HOT HOT HOT women.

There is nothing to visit in Irvine, CA. I work and live approximately 20 miles from there and it's the most sanitized city ever. Boring, beige and mauve colors everywhere. Boring dining, shopping plazas every other block....very Stepford.

The weather is usually pleasant though.

Also probably the highest percent of homosexuals in Laguna Beach too but if that's your thing knock yourself out.
