What's really funny is that after the first lid wore out, I ordered a custom lid fromn this place that makes inflatable lids - like a giant pillow. It's cover in really tough cloth and has 3 layers of air bladders. It works really great and is light so it's easy to take off and put on. So my cats have figured out if they nap on it, the spot they are will squish down and their sleeping on a soft, hot pillow. I should take a photo of them there.
