I have just installed quicktime 7, an upgrade from 6. I use Firefox 1.0.6 as my browser.

Below is the FAQ from Mozilla User Support. When I visit: http://homepage.mac.com/lsinger9404/iMovieTheater71.html

I am still prompted to download the plugin - any ideas why?

How do I install QuickTime?

If you have QuickTime 5.0 or later installed, Mozilla Firefox will automatically use the plugin. You do not need to do anything.

If you install QuickTime after Mozilla Firefox, the QuickTime installer will automatically install the plugin for Mozilla Firefox.

Note: QuickTime 7.0 is now available.

I had this problem, I think it may be site specific. The best thing to do is right click on the link and save as.

Cheers Dude.

I'll hopefully get this quicktime thing sorted via the Mozilla forums.
