i don't know why it is, but me and my friends often come back from the pub with items from said pub. i now have a modest collection which i'm hoping to build up over the next few years. i was just wondering if anyone else has such a collection, and if so would you be so kinda as to compare?

my collection consists of,
a number of ordinary beer mats, mostly funny ones such as "In Scotland it rains 364 days of the year. Brilliant! Bellhaven Best, making the best of Scotland's natural resources..."

a number of ordinary pint glasses, including hodesggarden, guinness, tennants.

a couple of fancy pint glasses (the hardest ones to smuggle out). i think ones sol, and i really cannot remember the make of the other one...i'll look it up...

two ash trays

a number of advertising stickers for beers taken from their pumps

a proper beer mat-one from the actual bar that's got a kinda furry texture and is about a foot by half a foot.

very few of these have actually been taken by me, but they still reside in my collection for some reason, and one of the pubs in st andrews has taken to selling it's glasses due to loosing so many...

I used to collect a lot of this stuff.
Apart from beer mats, loads of glasses, cloth beer mats I got a drip tray (the kind off the bar that they stand your pint on - think it was Heineken), a pool cue, cue ball and bar stool!

I have a nice collection of glasses which, I’m afraid to say, have not been washed since I acquired them several years ago. I'm not really sure I wish to use them now.

a number of bar towels (fosters, carling, carlsberg), cue, red, yellow and 8 ball (I was contemplating going for another 6 each of the reds and yellows). Many glasses.

I bought an old Enamel Tobacco advertsing sign for a fiver off the landlord of the Bless in Derby 'cos it is the family name and quite collectable. I know it's not nicked but that's my favourite bit of bar memorabillia.

Don't worry, if you drink cobra you have paid for those glasses ten times over.

I have a No Smoking sign. It is metal plate and measures about 8 by 12 inches. I also woke up once with a garden gate next to my bed. 😕
