Child Murders

"CBC News Online | July 23, 2004"

When a child is murdered in Canada, it's usually at the hands of a relative, not a stranger.

Do you always paint with such a large brush? I mean, you are talking about somewhere between 300 & 400 million people.

Nope. an American would never cut me in line while trying to buy a bottle of water for my dehydrated self.

A Canadian did.

That isn't what I am saying at all. IMHO, when having a discussion about the merits/failings of individuals (or any kind of sociological observation) and use categories such as nationality which includes such large sub-sets of population (statistically speaking), it makes the comparison invalid.

That's probably true in most countries.

An abridged translation for the slow Celticcountry:

"You wrong. You make stupid observation. Make no sense. You retard."

Isn't that more like 3 or 4 people, not million? (Actually there are 32 million, not 400 million, but you get my point)😛

The population of the US is 295 million people. That gives a total of 327 million people that were being generalized by Celtic-cunnyface.

wi like hte bit in bowling for columbine where MM goes to a canadian city to see what gun crime they have. on the way he walks into a random persons house who had left their door open...anyway, he asked the police cheif about gun crime. the chief thought for a bit, and finally decided that there was a shooting or something of that nature a couple of years ago. carried out by an american...

in my rather humble opinion, you can actually make sweeping statements, to an extent, with nationals from the same countries. why is britain populated by neds/chavs, but no other country is?
