Maybe you should lobby for Australian Boomerang as an Olympic sport.

"There are different types of throwing contests: accuracy of return; Aussie round; trick catch; maximum time aloft; fast catch; and endurance"

You're onto something there. Lets face it : any sport can make it at the Olympics with a good enough PR campaign.
