Sure they do, but I don't come onto the forums talking about the flavor of the month being "beloved". When Yankee fans start booing Jeter or Bernie or Mo every time they go in a slump let me know.
Ya ya ya. Tell me: Why in the hell do they boo A-Rod anyways?

Who the frig knows? He makes $25 million and he hasn't hit 100 home runs in a year yet. He has been pretty atrocious in the field this year though he made a couple of good plays today and got cheered by a small crowd (rain out from last night). He's still on pace to hit about 35 home runs
and drive in about a 120 runs in this "terrible" year he's having. Today was the first game back after the Sux sweep and the road trip and we now have an 8 game lead, so fans who still boo him are total losers (I didn't hear any today).

Guy's got a legitimate shot at being the first clean player to break Maris' record and you're calling him the flavor of the month. Two more home runs by him sets a club record, guy's active in the community, and he's one of the cornerstones of the team. This is why they s ...[text shortened]... PFFT!! Two years in that wiffleball park?? Give me a break!

CORRECTION: One and a half years in that wiffleball park!

I don't know, I think that 329 and 330 are bigger than 318 and 315. I'm pretty sure that 398 is bigger than 385, and I think 409 is the same as 409. Can anybody check me?
Philly fans, PFFT! Take a gander at the website for Citizens Bank: http://philadelphia.phillies.mlb.com/NASApp/mlb/phi/ballpark/facts_figures.jsp

The power alleys are 369 in Right Center and 374 in Left Center. That's 15-25 feet shorter than they are in the Bronx. Jeter would hit 50 there.

How many home runs get hit right down the line??? They're called the "power alleys" for a reason.

More home runs were hit in your Little League park in 2004 than any other NL park and only one more stadium in the AL (which are all DH games) had more. Read this and weep:

The wall in left field at CBP got moved back about 15 rows over the offseason, but it does still tend to be a launching pad. It is a tremendous place to see a game. I've gone over 10 times this season.

As soon as Abreu was gone this team starting playing ball. They will win the wild card.

And Howards homeruns would leave any ballpark quite easily. Jeter couldn't hit 50 out of my backyard

You've apparently never watched a real game of baseball. It's typical loser team crap to bad mouth a star player after he leaves; I'm sure you and Sasquatch will trashtalk Howard after he's gone from one of the worst non-expansion franchises in baseball.

If 5 feet equals "15 rows", you have the tiniest seats in history.

Sure you're Babe freaking Ruth.

I've looked at pictures of the Philly "ballpark" and it's what you would expect from a stadium named after a bank. A souless hell hole with 70 luxury boxes for the Corporate elite, short fences to satisfy the non-baseball "fan" and a ripoff of Fenway in left center. Pathetic.
