They better have that down, since they, as no1 has so clearly exhibited, don't know jack about baseball.
This from the guy who can't figure out why they call the areas in left and right center the "power alleys".
Originally posted by sasquatch672Sure expert, keep watching the games and thinking as many home runs get hit right down the line as they do in the power alleys.
The Phillies are a bonus to me. If they win, that's great, if they don't, that's ok too, the sun'll come up in the morning. But what I think's funny is that I could probably take you to a lawn bowling match and pass it off as baseball to you, since you don't know the first damn thing about it. "Mmm...this is baseball." No1 stays silent, thinking ...[text shortened]... e they roll the ball, but hey, maybe the rules are different in different cities...

I never made that claim, and anyway, don't change the subject. Okay, here's a softball (no pun intended) - what's a shift?
It's a frigging wash. First of all, you don't know that the power alleys are shorter, but I'll concede that they are, for argument's sake. Second, Citizens Bank is 15 feet longer down the lines, so how is that again?
Now the only way it would be a "wash" would be if there were an equal number of home runs hit down the lines as in the power alleys. Try taking a 1st Grade math course if you don't understand why.
