@mlb62 saidI have been lucky with all places I have lived in. My present living is for buyers who have reached 55 of age, with similar views on responsibilities and visions. Many sold their previous properties as they were tired of garden and repair work and wanted an easier life. We pretty much agree what common work has to be done, when and at what cost. There will always be people whose personal chemistry doesn't work and sometimes they move on.
@divegeester
some people just move into a neighborhood and don't give a damn about any standards. They are usually lower income , lower educated losers..
@mlb62 saidSir, All that tells me is there are group of you who look at things in the same light.
sir, you don't have the facts...SEVERAL other residents have come to me to tell me they feel the same way too !! 😁 . my wife & I were one of the first here, long before the "Winchester" house was built !!
Just because they may be poor doesn't make them LOSERS.....Because you and your little group look down upon them doesn't make them inferior to you.

-Removed-It's an American thing. The widow of the Winchester Rifle Company, back in the late 1800's moved to California for the warm climate. She was enormously wealthy and bought a home in San Jose. . Apparently she was also superstitious ..the story is she met a physic who told her that as long as her house was under construction , her health would improve, and she'd not have to worry about dying. At one point, it's been said, that her house had 500 rooms and 7 stories high. Many of the rooms couldn't be accessed because the hallway just stopped, being "walled in" by other hallways. There were over 1,000 windows, mostly useless as you couldn't reach them.
I've been there 2 or 3 times.
