Areas of Agreement #101

May we all agree: (1) That the earth is not flat; (2) That the law of gravity is real; (3) That gravity enables us to walk upright;

(4) That all human beings are given life one day at a time and die from shortness of breath; (5) That females are beautiful.

(6) That we breathe 8-14 times per minute (8-14 x 60 x 24 = a ballpark range of 11,520 to 20,160) or approx 16,000 times

per day. (7) That we all tend to take each one of them totally for granted without even an iota of gratitude. (8) That incredible

intricacies and unfathomable immensities of design are revealed through the microscope and telescope, respectively.

You inclined to agree with any of the first eight (in part or in whole)?

GB: hey everybody, talk about what i want to talk about. i'll just keep re-posting this over and over until someone says what i want them to, because i'm an old fart who doesn't have a life.

now there's something we can all agree to.

Ok buddy, now you have to tell us what you want to talk about?

Could you point us to that interesting thread you have started?

I might even leave a nice comment.

Good morning, Mr Blackamp. Always pleases me when you stop by. If you must know... Yes, I did struggle over

choice of topic and selected this one rather than "moral dilemma 2 - the trolley problem" by a narrow margin.

Russ & Chris have provided the Debates Forum for "genuine philosophical

problems" and related psychological speculations. General is for dummies.
