I guess the best team won but Argentina should have had a man send off. There again they should not have had a goal disallowed so it evened out in the end but Mexico did well. Congratulations.

There was an unexisting offside, and I saw clearly 2 argentines players against the poor mexican goalkeeper ready to commit a killer shoot. But it seems that the lineman was sight impaired 🙄
May be he was hearing/seeing another match 🙂

Anyway, I think that you can get more fun out of a game played between (south) american teams than from european ones.
May be that native euro teams has an "olympic" physical training, so they have fast races with the ball... but in the end, they don't know how to do with it.... 🙂
For the first ten minutes Mexico came out with speed and played well, they had pace and energy, when they conceded that own-goal it all went against them, Argentina tired them by gradually taking back the possession. Then for the next half it looked like both teams were too scared to attack. They seemed committed to going to extra time.
In the 98th minute Rodriguez scored the most beautiful goal of the world cup thus far! Mexico were defeated. They barely fought back after that, the team that walked off the pitch this evening was completely different from the team that walked on. It was a tough mind game between them, Argentina proved stronger. I look forward to seeing them play Germany, it is one of the stronger Argentinian teams I've seen in over a decade.

I think that (today) match should be defined by penalties.
