Reform are in second place in the polls for the first time ever and Farage has only been back less than two weeks.

The UK is in revolt over the incompetence of the Conservatives to deliver on Brexit and for their general mismanagement of … well everything, frankly. There is a revolution in British politics happening and it’s about friggin time!

Out with the old, in with the new.

That said, I'm wondering if this brexit idea might be creating more problems than it's solving. Most economists here in the US think it was a bad idea.

Like at New Year.

What a great time of year that is; lots of chocolate and warm fires.

@divegeester

The Tories have been bailing a sinking ship ever since Cameron stupidly held a referendum on Brexit in 2016. The first rule of holding a referendum is: never announce one before you know what the result is going to be.

Not really.
The Conservatives won a landslide election in 2019.

They’ve been a sinking ship since then.

The vote for BoJo was an act of desperation. Britons desperately wanted a clear result, not just more talk and empty promises. As we saw, BoJo didn’t last. He was a flash in the pan, and he left a mess behind.

Well there were other parties to vote for including the LibDems who vowed to reverse the Brexit decision. They were demolished and left with only 2 seats as I remember, and their leader lost her seat. So much for “desperation” and anyway a 80+ seat majority was hardly the boat sinking since 2016. Besides the Tories also won in 2017.

By “they” do you mean the Tories?

Other than in Scotland and London Reform are second in most polls, but it’s up and down.
I’m expecting Reform to poll much higher on July 4th. Remember all the polls said the Brexit referendum would return a remain vote.
