Well I’m not responsible for the ad material. Why don’t you investigate and report back.

I think the real question should be, why are you not using an ad blocker?

I'll let someone else say they used it and met your wife joke.

RHP is the only entry in my ad blocker's whitelist. When I try that with othet sites, sooner or later a dodgy ad slips through -- autoplay, popup, too heavy JS.
Russ has yet to disappoint me that way. (I don't care about dodgy content, only about the safety of my browser.) And the site is worth it.

It would be if a. I had a credit card to make getting the money to Russ feasible and b. I were able to play more than a handful of games without getting overloaded. Neither is true, so I put up with the ads. I don't mind on this site.

(Meanwhile, e.g., Imgur is committing suicide in a complicated and drawn-out manner.)

If an ad is blocked, do you not get the revenue? I thought it only blocked the user from seeing the ad.

If the ad is blocked, the ad is not shown, resulting in no interaction with the ad = no revenue. The ad supported web may cease to exist in the future, but right now it is what funds (in part) services such as RHP.

What would no ads mean for the future of the net? Totally only paid subs, is this something from the right wing governments around the world? what is the genesis of such a change?
I would assume that change would cause a lot of small sites to go out of business.
