Just thought I'd gripe about some songs that I am totally sick of hearing on the radio.

Superman or Kryptonite or whatever that cheezy song is called
Are you gunna be my Girl? Gimmie a break!
Isn't it Ironic? STILL gets played every day!

Feel free to add some more!

Some famous DJ in the USA got the sack because he played some Cliff Richard tracks. Thats going a bit far?

I think you will find that is Tony Blackburn, a has-been DJ employed by some useless 'oldies' FM station in the UK. (who recently gained some popularity after appearing on a reality TV show)

He kept his job. Even he admitted 'Cliff' wasn’t so important he wanted to lose his job over it.

I really hate Christina Agulira, and anything with more than 2 minutes of singing. Solos rule the roost!

Yep, that was it. I only caught the end of it on CNN. Apparently there's some rule that it's not permissible tp play ANY Cliff Richard on that station. Seems a bit draconian even by Britain's standards.

maybe if the radio is playing stuff you hate, you should just reach out and twist the dial...find some station that caters to your taste...

I know! She has that squeaky voice that just makes the hairs on the back of my neck stand up. Plus all she talks about is sex.

I used to like Maroon 5 but they play, "This Love" way to many times. Have you seen the video? Its like soft porn.

And quite rightly so.

There's enough naff music out there without having sir-I'm a virgin-goody-two-shoes whining away as well.

Doesn't seem draconian enough for me. I mean, they are still allowing Cliff to live after all...

Sounds like a good policy to me. (Although my mother would disagree)
