What!?! You've never heard of Adobe® Photoshop® 7.0?!? It is the greatest program ever created in the history of this universe, or any other universe, past, present, or future. As they say on their website (http://www.adobe.com/products/photoshop/main.html):

Adobe® Photoshop® 7.0 software, the professional image-editing standard, helps you work more efficiently, explore new creative options, and produce the highest quality images for print, the Web, and anywhere else. Create exceptional imagery with easier access to file data; streamlined Web design; faster, professional-quality photo retouching; and more.

It is a program of unparalled power and subtlety. They do make versions for people afflicted with Windows computers. It's not cheap though, the full program costs about 6 or 7 hundred dollars. But if you do any digital imaging at all it is indispensible. Put it on your Christmas list. πŸ˜‰

I checked the site you git it from but its a car site so I'm guessing that your the webmaster of it.
Yup, made it with Paint Shop Pro! It is much better than Photoshop. Much better.... um, if you would rather have a pool table than a very very good art program. πŸ™‚

Anyway, Paint Shop is good enough to mess around with, and I think you can find a free download at jas.com? My next work for a Cheezy avatar will be "Break-Out" perhaps....

Ah redlentils, of course you are correct. My tone with orkyboy was heavy handed, and uncalled for. For that I do apologize. However, I would be very surprised if I were the only one who had similar feelings about his plethora of posts.

As for lecturing others on their grammar, punctuation, spelling, etc., I think I am well within my rights to do so. If ...[text shortened]... ling which really grind me to no end.
p.p.s. This has been written on a wonderful white eMac.
If it makes it easier for people to read my posts I shall try to use better grammer and less shortcuts. Thank-you for your comments rwingett I will try to make my posts more understandable and less numerous in the future. (Wow look at all those big words.)

I currently use Photoshop 6 and was hoping you could tell me the difference between 6 and 7. I'm still pretty stoked with 6.

The differences are not that major. Basically they are: OSX compatibility, some web enhancements, a spell checker (a personal favorite of mine πŸ˜‰ ) , and many new "art studio brushes".

Why wouldn't anyone with a computer want to mess around with a good program? I've used it to make skins and textures for games like Quake through Unreal Touney... Cheezey web pages, avatars, Icons, fonts, chess pieces for Tournement Chess, and generally messing around.
Perhaps if there were similar things around when I was a teen I would be getting paid to use it now.... ya never know. If you can drop 50 bucks on a game, why not spend some on a cool tool?
