baby bash guitar

my baby boy 1yr old is currently bashing a door against my guitar, id normally stop him, but he looks like he working through some serious emotions here, if i stop him he may never deal with whats eating him up and he might resent me for the rest of his life. although i do like my guitar. whats a dad to do.
