    My jeans were larger in the waist area; it is disappointing how clothing manufacturers try to cut costs by reducing material.
    I remember when one bought Levi jeans they were like cardboard, and had a distinctive and not unpleasant smell. And they shrunk in the wash and the colour leached out for a bit. And then they lasted 5 years of whatever one threw at them.

    Edit: And only blue, none of these fancy colours!

    Yea, but the damned things lasted forever not like today's one you have throw away after a couple years.

    You probably used the cloth diapers back in the day torunn!

    Much cheaper than todays pampers, only a lot more work to them and much more messy.

    No, in fact I believe I was one of the first in my family to use pampers, mid 60's.

    Back in those days, pin pricks were part and parcel of learning just how to get them to stay on.

    If you were sticking the safety pins I believe they were called in properly you would stick it in your own finger or thumb not the baby!!! 😉
