When this site first started, to keep it running Russ & Chris asked for donations. These were voluntary and with out them the site probably wouldn't be around. These guys generally never complained they were happy to pay just to keep the site running. Now that RHP has become more commerical there seems to be a lot of bad attitude aimed at non-subs. We don't make the site rules thats up to Russ & Chris. If they decide to restrict our access in the forums thats up to them. Its far enough to complain about a spammer, but to blame it all on none subs!. I could quite easily name a few subscribers that create similiar spam like threads. As nordlys implied it is a spammer/troll issue.

There are many great non subs which I have had the pleasure of playing in the past so I dont want to be seen as tarnishing all non subs with the same brush.
As Ravello stated you may get a few posts off subs which in your view may be pointless but never derogatory.

I don't say "ban them from forums forever" because I know that Russ won't do it,as it is counterproductive, but something should be done to avoid the flourisment of idiotic threads like the one which has been deleted and like the ones we see every single day.
This is often caused by the fact that most non-subs don't care at all if they post insults or spam the forums because in all cases they have nothing to lose.
What I propose is a limitation of posts per day, I say it should be done for recs too.
If I have (e.g.) ten posts per day then I'll choose carefully the replies to give and what to say because I don't want to waste those ten posts; if I post crap at least I'll do it only ten times and will have to wait the next day to post again: this way the amount of crap posted would dramatically diminish,I'm sure.
On a side note this would work greatly for recs too because if I have 5 recs per day I'll grant them carefully instead of giving'em away to all the guys I agree with or because I want to support a certain poster instead of supporting the contents of the post.
This would avoid the reccing of all xyz's posts (like happens these days and happened in the past),it would significantly slim the Recommended posts list which nowadays is full of crap for a good 60% because recs are given to the dogs and ,last but not the least, would give more meanings and values to a truly recced post.
Otherwise take away the recs compleely and the problem is solved to the root.

There is only a minority of non subs that are knob heads.

😴 Ok,I edited it,can we move on and stop discussing semantics?
In case you guys didn't notice,my first language is not english.
I have given my opinion on this issue several times. Ignore the posts, don't feed the troll, and if necessary, alert the moderators and get the person banned. I don't see it as such a huuuge problem. And stop pointing out the subscription status everytime a non-sub writes something stupid. It's like in the news - if a foreigner has done something criminal, you'll read that a foreigner did it. If it's not a foreigner, the nationality won't be mentioned. Over time, that works wonderfully to give people the impression that most crimes are done by foreigners.
