about this, particularly when they harp on about guns being safe in the
hands of highly trained individuals.

This is dereliction of duty.
Like most law enforcement officers, FBI agents are told to maintain control of their weapon at all times.
What in hell was he doing on the dance floor doing wacky moves like this with a gun in his pants? It's lucky someone wasn't killed.
