In my opinion racist views should never go unchallenged because otherwise the racist might think everyone agrees with them. But, at the same time race hatred exists and racists need to express it otherwise you get organisations like the Nazis forming underground movements and committing mass genocide with no open debate. It happened before and will happen again without channels of communication and sensible debate.
