Any baseball fans out there? Want to draft and manage your own team? At whatifsports.com you can do just that. Your team is given a salary based on what league you joined and then you put together teams using any players from the 1800s up to 2004. As manager and GM you set your lineup and pitching rotation, and make all the roster changes. The artificial intelligence plays the games at a rate of three per day (so it takes 54 days to complete a full 162 game season).
My team, Kaline's Krew, is currently 24-23. Mark Fidrych got the win in my last game (7-2), Cecil Fielder hit his 15th homerun, and Ty Cobb stole his 24th base.
You can play a full 162 game season for $12.99 or a 10 game "spring training" season for free.

Originally posted by darvlayIt's been 11 years since they had a winning record. Yeah, go ahead and laugh. But this year things are going to be different. We got Troy Percival, Magglio Ordonez, and Kyle Farnsworth in the offseason. It's on to the World Series! You'll see!

Ordonez was a nice pick-up and Percival should have one or two years left in him if he doesn't lose his job to "ol' bootsy" Farnsworth. They will definitely help the team. And having Pudge never hurts anyone.

They didn't do so well.

If we got enough people interested we could start a private league with all RHP people in it.
