It bothers me a bit that an actor is reduced to a role. Adam West died, and batman lives on. Probably Batman did die, if I know comics at all, and came back just fine.

And I don't care about comics or their multi-billion dollar offspring. I do miss Mad magazine, but not if I look at it again.

I'm saying the thread title is kinda insult and mockery.

I liked the fold-in back cover. Pretty easy to figure out before folding, but still satisfying, for a while. Pretty short while.

Loved the series as a little boy (on B&W tv)
and loved the humour when older.

Robin: A ballpoint banana.

Batman: Right! Two: "What people are always in a hurry?"

Robin: Rushing people? Russians!

Batman: Right again! Now, what would you say they mean?

Robin: Banana... Russian... I've got it! Someone Russian is gonna slip on a banana peel and break their neck!

Batman: Precisely, Robin! The only possible meaning!

Batman: True, Robin. It was noble of that animal to hurl himself into the path of that final torpedo. He gave his life for ours.


They could deadpan it better than most.

Adam West was certainly all about the deadpan.

His work on Family Guy was deadpan at its best. Bizarre lines delivered without breaking tone or losing the beat. He was a total pro.

He finally received his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2012.
