Beatles singles on a CD?

Some of the best Beatles recordings were actually A and B sides of singles and did not appear on official LPs. E.g. Rain, Paperback Writer, Hey Jude, Revolution (B side version), All You Need Is Love etc.

Is there a compilation available of these on CD? If so, what's it called?

It seems that Past Masters 1 and 2 cover most of what I want.

I had what was called the Hey Jude album. It had a picture of "Beatles in the Garden" on it and included Rain, P Writer, I Should Have known Better, Revolution,,,many tracks you mentioned. I don't know if it's on CD--my last music purchase was 1979.

Nope, never made it onto CD. The most modern release was on a cassette tape.

The CD era saw the standardizing of the Beatles' discographies worldwide, and the Hey Jude album, as originally released, is not being offered on compact disc. All of the tracks contained on 'Hey Jude' can be found on A Hard Day's Night and Past Masters, Volume Two. An import CD referred to as a Mini LP Edition, however, can be found.

A compact disc version exists which contains both the Abbey Road and Hey Jude albums. This CD, which was originally produced for select European and Asian markets, can occasionally be found for sale on online sites such as eBAY.
