Saw Johnny in Glasgow way back, he played Pretty vacant was too awesome, someone threw a bottle though and it hit him, that was enough and he walked off.

Well, you either mean the F-14 Tomcat or the F-4 Phantom. Since it's Top Gun, I'm guessing you mean the F-14 Tomcat. Interestingly, the F-14 replaced the F-4 operationally on the US Navy's carriers..

Little-known fact: Terri Nunn actually auditioned for the role of Princess Leia in Star Wars.
