We don't actually need Bernie for this to be entertaining. A Trump/Cruz or Cruz/Trump ticket could provide some real life entertainment.
In my mind it's still a crap shoot how this could all play out, because republican establisment types are still able to ignore and bypass a popular candidate for one of their own. They've done so in the past, and there's really nothing to stop them from doing it again.
