Fleetwood Mac? Don't get me wrong, I like them, but blues?

Anyway, the USAnians, having invented blues in the first place, know that it's a one-man thing by its very nature. One man with a (small) backing band, possibly, but a blues band? Doesn't work. An entire band cannot have the blues.

Pick any dive bar in Chicago, Memphis or Mississippi and the bands there will be superior to the above list.

Yup. They are sooo good that no one has ever heard of them and you can't remember their names.

Peter Green's Fleetwood Mac is the only Fleetwood Mac to listen to. Guitar and voice, blues all the way!
"Need Your Love" has got to be one of the best bluesy smoochie coochie songs 🙂

How many blues albums do you think are recorded in a year by a major record label - almost zero. Has very little to do with talent and a lot to do with the economics of the music industry.
Blues artists in the US typically record/produce their albums themselves on a tiny (sub 5k) budget and sell their albums at shows. There is no radio airplay for them, and certainly no international distribution deals.
