My hometown of Seattle in the 30's was locked in the deepfreeze of the great depression just like the others, but out of it came bunch of unemployed young loggers, fishermen, and millhands eager for a hot meal, a decent bed, and a chance for a college education. A true story that will inspire.

I have watched "Precious" yesterday (the firm is from 2009). It was deeply moving and well acted.
