The concept of the 'best movie of all time' is a bit premature since they have only been around for a bit over 100 years. What would the best movie of all time be 100 years from now?

I didn't see anyone tout 'the treasure of Sierra Madre', has to be a great movie. And Godfather 1 and 2.

I got off on Zardoz🙂 He kills them at the end and they thank him saving them from endless boredom of immortality in a fishbowl.

Das Cabinet des Dr. Caligari is worthy of a mention as well. Very impressive expressionistic film.

Glengarry Glen Ross is the film I have watched the most times (or listened to). It's also my favourite 'American Dream' movie.

Simple.

One man doesn't know how to bring out the best in himself.

The other man does.

Classic!!!

Foley is the man!!!

Some less well known films that made a big impression on me in their various ways which could be dark horse candidates for 'best film' are Walker - with Ed Harris, Love Liza - with Phillip Seymour Hoffman, Naked - directed by Mike Leigh, Jacknife - with Ed Harris and Robert DeNiro, and Eraserhead by David Lynch. Out of these, I would choose "Naked".
