Best music to play chess to?

In my case it's hands down The Violent Femmes. Acoustic alternative is the perfect mix to wipe the floor with plenty of 1800s while being creamed by 1900s.

Johann Sebastian Bach especially "Air". Or soft classic with strings.

Anything from Davy Spillane to Slayer. Don't matter what kind of tunes are on in the background to me, I'm still cr*p.

NOOOOOOOOO!!!! Never listen to music while playing chess. I did this once and it was disaster.

Rock music works for me....from classic stuff like Queen to newer stuff like System of a Down. Sometimes classical and even some of the Monastic choir stuff is good...really depends on the mood.

Disruptive music includes country, rap and pop...

i have never done music whilst playing.
