Best or worst thing about the last decade?

People can define a decade whenever they choose to of course, but I prefer to be mathematically correct.

- The first year was Y1 therefore the tenth year was Y10, and not Y9
- The year prior to Y1 AD was Y-1 BC, not Y0. Y0 doesn’t exist.
- So there is no option within the Gregorian calendar to have a decade, a century nor a millennium finish on the 31st December of ...[text shortened]... on and enjoy it very much despite holding within me the knowledge that everyone else is being duped.

Whether we like it or not, the coming year will be known, indelibly, as the first year of the modern Twenties.
