Didn't know that, at least they kind of look like a pumpkin. How Americans changed some of the veg names I'll never know, eggplant?

The one that bugs me is cilantro. I suppose that's the Spanish influence.

how about brussel sprouts in roast gravy?

cut them in half and soak the cut surface in the gravy. suck it out. yum.

It was a favorite in a mixed grill with a mint gravy when toasted on booze.
You need a delicious gravy to go with it. :-).

Broad beans, fresh. Other beans, dried.
White cabbage, not for its own taste, but because it works so well with spices.
