asking posters to listen and change is not difficult
expecting them to do so is wildly optimistic
i would issue a challenge to folks who post in the general forum
respond only to the words you deign to reply too
do not respond to the poster of those words, or any assumed toxicity (according to you) that that poster may carry
reply to words/ideas, not individuals
reply to questions, not to relationships
Between stimulus and response there is a space.
In that space is our power to choose our response.
In our response lies our growth and our freedom.

@rookie54 saidAlways like what you post rookie. Even if its rubbish.

@rookie54 said"There is a fifth dimension beyond that which is known to man. It is a dimension as vast as space and timeless as infinity. It is the middle ground between light and shadow, between science and superstition, and it lies between the pit of man's fears and the summit of his knowledge. This is the dimension of imagination. It is an area we call the RedHotPawn."

Only in a perfect world would this happen. I am as guilty as the next one, but have tried and been trying to change my ways. It is difficult to do when you have someone stalking every post I put up, and giving thumbs down to what I post not because of what I post, just because it was me who posted. To me that is a very childish thing to do. Don't mistake what I am saying as I think you are absolutely correct in what you are saying.
EDIT: Perhaps more accurate in the person you quoted.

@rookie54 saidYeah, sure, but those other damn word-tossers are also just imaginary constructs on their side and our side, as are we, now that I think of it.
