I'm about to start doing some maintenance on my bike - should I cut up an old T-shirt for rags or use J-cloths?

I had no idea what a J Cloth was,so i googled it.
I take it that they are what us yanks call Handi-Wipes.
A heavy paper based disposable towel.
The old Shirt works better and you are using a more earth friendly
method of re-use and re-cycle that way.

Neither, just take it to a mechanic before you bust a knuckle. or let your wife fix it right for you.
