@indonesia-phil saidProbably more to do with the frustration over the Pandemic than you.
Thanks Hakima, although judging by the number the thumbs down I received it appears that not everyone shares your opinion; there are a lot of awfully cross people around at the moment, it seems. Still, as a fellow writer of fine onions you clearly appreciate great (?) literature when you see it....
The U.K. and U.S are going through some rough times with it.
Right now it appears U.k. are. I hear on news there were over 1000 deaths yesterday. Goad or anyone from there can correct me if I am wrong on that one.

@indonesia-phil saidI know this has already been voted on and our side lost on knowing the person who did the thumb down. I knew the thumbs down would increase because of that, which has happened as you can see for yourself.
I hope they waited for the bell before they thumbed me down, otherwise it doesn't count...

@very-rusty saidYou're not wondering at all, are you?
Just wondering Suzie Q are you a bit bias? 😉 😛

@very-rusty saidThanks Mister Rusty, I'm not deeply offended by the thumbs down, and I do appreciate the thumbs up, and these are indeed horrible times for some people to be living through. I love living in darkest Indonesia anyway, but have never been so glad to live here as during the last year. We have the virus, of course, but the Indo government has done a good job, and the people here are more compliant as regards mask - wearing, social distancing and so on. In the UK, every time a lockdown is announced some people go out and mix with as many other people as possible (mostly without wearing masks). This is not rocket science...Indonesian borders are still closed, so we're stuck here, but Indonesia is a huge and beautiful place to be stuck in, and we are free to travel internally, so we go to Bali or similar every couple of months; nice work if you can get it.

As regards the hate - fest that's going on in the forums at the moment, it is I think and as you say a reflection of the times in which we live, and I take the view that it's best just to love everybody, it's easier on the soul that way. People do what they do and say what they say, and he (or she) who is without sin, let him (or her) cast the first stone, if you know what I mean.
Anyway have a good one, and now come the thumbs down....
@Indonesia-Phil
Will listen in on Sunday old chap. Is a long way from Colchester to Sulawesi. (Query spelling).
@indonesia-phil saidSo far I see 2 thumbs up and I agree with you. Many in the UK don't like to see people going around without wearing masks either. Depending on the Province and area of the Province one lives in here in Canada the compliance varies. I think here in Nova Scotia it is mainly good compared to many places, not saying we have no one who doesn't break the rules. I'd sooner be where I am than anywhere else right now. Good luck to you and Stay Safe Mr. Indonesia-Phil.

@very-rusty saidLeading questions and rhetorical questions are best left unanswered because you're not waiting for an actual answer. You'll continue on your way no matter what the answer is. You're learning from your mentor. Well done, boy. Sit. Have a cookie.
Of course I am, you're just not answering the question sort of like goad does.

Cookies aren't part of my diet and I expect you to remember that in the future! 🙂
Your super girl outfit is getting old by the way! Just thought I'd mention it. 🙂
