Sorry . I'm over sensitised to people watching bad flicks . An ex-gf of mine loved movies . She could probably have rivaled you at cinema trivia . But she loved almost everything she saw . The last movie I went to with her was that piece of crap with Nic Cage ; "Capt. Scorcesies Skin Flute" , or "Capt. Corpuscles Pink Violin" , or some F***in' thing like that . It was the worst piece of crap I can remember . She loved it and wanted to discuss it's deeper meanings . I told her I was rooting for the nazis to shoot both of them and she blows up all over me . Gets mad because I ruined it for her . I'm like , "No babe , the director pretty much beat me to that ."
She'd watch goddam near anything ! She would sit me down in front of Sci-fi channel to watch some of her favorite shows so I'd be hip to these "deep" thoughts from grade B TV shows . There was some show called "Mutant X Men" , or some danm thing like that . So I'm watching this , and all these guys got super powers from too many x-rays at the dentist I guess (like she always warned me about) .So I ask her -"OK , there's this guy who can walk through walls . There's this other guy who can shoot sparks out his ass . I got that . But this chic that's hanging out with them , she acts like she's a mutant too , but I haven't seen her doing anything special. What's up with her ?"
The gf says , "She has the power of the cat !"
I think about it for a minute , and I say , " WTF is the power of the cat ? Like when she sees the bad guy guy what does she do ? F***s up his couch , or sh1ts in his kitchen ?"
She throws me out ! Gets all pissy because I ask a question .
So I'm thinking , maybe Kev likes ANY movie like this chic did . I was only trying to shake you out of it , brah .

....Everyone is making threads with movie titles.... Napoleon Dynamite, Blow, etc.... This thread was a joke. I hated Bio-Dome, I hate plenty of movies, in fact it seems I hate most movies. But I love you. Brah.

I can't watch Blair Witch. It makes me woozy, I almost threw up coming out of the theater. I don't know how good or bad the story was, because the first person camera work makes me so dizzy, that I can't stare at the screen. I never walk out of movies though, so I just spent my time staring at the floor, and trying to understand the movie through dialogue only. It didn't work.
