Just read about the racoons on the loose, how do you even get them on the Isle of Wight? Crazy. Never seem a racoon before actually, I'm currently in the tioman Island in Malaysia (I had never heard of it either until about a week ago). Just here a few hours and already seen monitor lizards, monkeys, the gaint squirrel, a bunch of regular sized squirrels, although I'm beginning to suspect it might just be one squirrel doing the same loop. Plus a bunch of birds and insects I haven't seen before. Oh, and fish, went snorkeling but nothing I haven't seen before yet. Tbf it's getting pretty hard to see new things in the ocean the amount of time I've spent there.

Tioman Island update - they have Pteropid bats (fruit bats)... Would rather come face to face with the gaint squirrel. What good do bats do? Really... Rats with wings spreading diseases and eating all the mangoes.

Well they do disappear when it starts to get cold but only until the find their winter coats, like all living Canadian things.🤔😲

We have red, grey, black and even some white squirrels here. I wonder if you’d notice the difference, aside from the white ones, what with you being colour blind and all.
