so Einstein was/is wrong. one of his conjectures is that light travels at the speed of light and it is always constant at that speed, so unless your light inside a black hole is going around in circles it must be stopped. nae light cant be stopped or it wouldn't be light. to go around in circles it must have a force acting on it, thus it must have a mass or be affected by an attracting force. which once again is not in the properties on light
Light is getting slowed down all the time (i.e. refraction and Cherenkov radiation). It has a constant speed in a vacuum.

In black holes relativity still applies (as far as we know), just effects space and time.

And please, no anal jokes.
I'm afraid that's not possible, it's a law of nature that any thread involving astronomy will have a pun involving the planet Uranus before the end of page two.

Last week the Science Channel showed a documentary called, "The Death Star".
It was awesome! It starts out by telling us that all the atoms in our bodies and heavy elements, came from inside exploding stars.... So, it says, "If everything was made from the stars, what made the stars?"

They talk about GRB's (Gamma Ray Bursts). A few years ago scientists thought that GRB's were caused when two neutron stars collided, but found out that's not true. Then they realized that the GRB's came from near the edge of the known universe, and that the amount of energy dispersed was impossible!
Maybe E-MC2 was wrong!?

So now they think they know what causes Gamma Ray Bursts, but it wouldn't surprise me if that theory is wrong too. Fun stuff to watch though.
(Maybe the GRB's are the signature of warp engines?) 8-)

if time is affected then velocity is affected, no? and hence relativity.

and so when it comes out of its refractory substance it instantaneously reverts to the speed of light originally???, so where is the energy coming from to do the revision???

BTW, light has been successfully stopped here on earth, you can make it go slower than a person walks.
got a link. i want to read it.
