No doubt this will sound like a stupid question to many RHPers' but I am thinking of purhasing a Blackberry and would like to know if the RHP site works on a Blackberry.

(Please no answers such as "Why don't you look in the f*****g manual?" or the like.)

Thank you to any sympathetic reader who responds.

If it use's the full internet (rather than that WAP, mobile browser thingy), then yes, it should. Though the best way to find out would be to go to a shop and ask for a demonstration. Type in RHP.com and see if you can update your games with it πŸ˜‰

But I'd decide on a move before hand, because trying to make a quick move in the store could be disasterous πŸ˜‰

Good advice, thanks.
I'm just worried that when I type in RHP the guy in the store will think he's dealing with a super-nerd.

I've got a blackberry, and while you can navigate to the site the board is not displayed sufficiently to play chess.

I can get to the site, but can't seem to be able to log in on mine...

Same here, but I reckon it's due to java script not enabled in the browser by default.

I get a blank gameboard. When I get my move notification I can click on the game and I'm told what the player's move was, but the board is blank so I have to still come here to play.

edit: Oh, it's because I'm nonsub scum. Never mind.

there's a thread in the Site Ideas forum about this. apparently RHP is in beta for the iphone, with support for Blackberry etc. on the way.

yeah.... blackberry browser- (using 8330 curve here) is no good- But, latest version OperaMini is all good!! it was a little slow loading pages until i found the board settings and switched away from a 'full feature' to the 'legacy/mobile browser' board setting. say goodbye to vacation pauses-
What? NOT play on vacation?? hmmm- since when does taking a vacation mean NOT doing what you enjoy?!?

okay, now how bout getting that blitz site mobilized?
