Blanket Force Fields and Anomalies?

So it's New Year and I was going to cuddle up to the misses but it seems a Blanket Force Field is in place.
I tried to get through but alas, my shoulder, my pride...a tough blanket barrier...

About as affective as the silent treatment but I am a man of research and I'm curious as to the other strategies of the magical anti man arts.

I had a cat that usually slept with me but sometimes wanted to be left alone and slept in another place by herself, and I respected that.

I've been single for most of my life, but not all of my life. I would say acknowledge and respect the barrier.

I guess you'll have to play it by ear whether or not to ask, "So what was the issue?" the next morning.

However, do not allow passive aggression. People are inherently controlling creatures, including of each other. Do not submit to control, but do require some kind of explicit explanation.

As for me, I would like other people to respect my barriers and boundaries, so why shouldn't we do the same for everyone else?
