Edit: My own blindspots, clearly many more than most... based on the fact that I continue to discover new ones on the chess board and off.

Automotive, for me of course.
Blindspot is an area, within the spectrum of all round vision, which is obscured by the A, B or C-pillars.
Using the rear-view mirror also creates blindspots, which are again generally blocked by the C-pillars or tailgate stanchions.
Side-view mirrors are adjustable externally and are not interfered with by the pillars. Contrary to popular belief they cannot therefore have blindspots!
The above can be referenced in Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard FMVSS 111 and European Safety Commission ECER 46-01 for some interesting reading if you feel that way inclined. I did a long time ago. 😳

It reminds me of the frequent eye tests I had before they took out the tumor on my pituitary gland. It had been pressing on my optic nerves which cross at that spot. Prayer on my behalf caused the tumor to drop down. The neurosurgeon said he had never EVER seen that happen before, and acknowledged that it was a miracle. I could have gone blind before, or during the surgery, otherwise. Many other terrible things COULD have happened. Miracle followed miracle. I do seem to have some blind spots on the chess board, however. At midnight last night I gave a bishop to Kaleigh.....:'(
