I keep a chess improvement blog as a training diary, to document what I'm doing and thinking, for better or worse. I thought it would be nice to read it years from now. I try to keep strictly on topic.
(it's also a backup for my data, as I lost the first 6 months of training diary when my computer crashed)
I keep a blog for poetry, although I see no difference between
the 'blog culture' and having a damn free website.
I think the 'blog' thing is called that way because of the 'rolling
diary' feature of the thing ... er... well... as you can see I am no
expert. I just go there an post when I come up with some verses.
