Board sizes II

I've only been here 2 years - I didn't realise there was more than one board size - hey look my pieces can be different too🙄

I think the different sizes must stay.Maybe people with some sort of sight defect need the bigger pieces?
I like the medium size myself.

The pieces look so small with the large board... I keep losing them!

I'm probably showing my age AND geekiness but does anyone remember ARCHON? A game for the Apple II that was an animated chess match between light and dark forces. To capture a piece you had to fight on a battlefield and each piece had different attacks...
