Are you talking boredom that you don't have anything to do? Or boredom when you have plenty to do, but just don't feel like any of it?
There's a difference you see.
The first version means you're going to have to find yourself a hobby or a sport.
Write on a piece of paper all the things you would like to do (however unrealistic they are). Look around at newspapers, on the internet, TV, radio and the local park to get ideas.
Do this for two weeks.
Once you've got a summery of all the things you would like to do, get a pen and stripe away everything which is totally unrealistic (like flying or holding your breath for 20 minutes). Then mark everything from five for top marks and 1 for lowest marks on:
1. How financially possible is it
2. How locally possible is it
3. What's the chance of making friends doing it
4. What's the chance of meeting a partner doing it.
5. How challenging is it.
Count the scores up and start doing the highest marked subject.
If you're talking about the second version, you're basically talking about a light depression. This feeling usually goes away within 24 hours.
There are ways to get over it quite immediatly:
a.
Pick something you could do, but don't feel like doing and just do it. Force yourself to do it.
b.
Get on a bicyle and cycle to a shop at least 15 minutes from your home. Buy yourself a soft drink, drink it outside beside your bicycle. Then go to a shop that sells magazines and buy a magazine about war, politics or super heroes. Cycle home.
Generally, your feeling of "being bored" will have gone.
If the feeling of impending boredom lasts for more than 3 days you should go to a doctor, because there's a chance you might be depressed and then talking about it is the next step you'll be wanting to do.
