I'm not sure what to expect at the festival. I will bring a bottle of water just in case.

I have seen Innes and Gunne about occasionally but never tried it. I might just take your word for it though and try some. Is it available on draft too?
Hmmm, I never seen it in draft. Have you ever been to the T in the park festival, i got diverted past it one year and all the young dudes were like trying to jump the hedges and get in free and the stewards were trying to c atch them. :-D

Not been to that nope. Not really into all these 'manufactured' festivals. I went to Glastonbury once and that was enough. A bit like being put through the mill. I have a ticket for this one. It should be visible without a ticket though as it is on Carlton hill.

You can walk up that hill easily, hopefully they will torch something good, maybe throw in a virgin for the dragon that inhabits the place, ummm if you dont mind me saying it sounds rather pagan. Be sure to wash your face in the dew on Carlton hill its meant to be mega lucky especially on May 1st.

Man up, mate. On the rare occasions that you have deserved a thumb up, I've given it to you as well, without the slightest regrets. After all, even the slightest step on the ascent up towards adulthood deserves to be applauded. Who knows, one day both you and Phlabs may be counted as the equal of us humans.

Wot, you mean Alex Salmond? Would be worth trying, but consider the explosion hazard!

Torching Alex could lead to hazardous and toxic waste, man how I wish I was
Norwegian, or even Dutch or German, but not French.

It was cool. Had a good wonder around the old town and all the little passage ways and courts. The city is really intriguing and has a lot of character. Took some panoramic photos from the castle. Started off on Deuchers in some pub on Cowgate. There was a band limbering up in there and they were very proficient, although death metal isn't quite my favourite genre. Ha! We then limbered up with some lager and went onto polish off a bottle of Tequila and vodka. The festival was great even though it did start late. I excelled myself at taking rubbish photos. Lot's of blurriness and backs of people's heads. Finally managed to get tickets for an after party at The Cave. The music and drumming continued there until gone 4:00am. It took me two hours to find my way out and I have little recall of what actually happened in there. Caught the coach at 5:00am and I am still suffering from sleep deprivation. I will slepp well tonight! All in all a good day out.
