Boris had such a low opinion of the British public he thought he could do as he pleased as long as he hid behind 'wartime' speeches about vaccines. People need to open their eyes and look at the true state of the health service and the ambulance service despite high levels of vaccination and the relatively harmless omicron variant.

Boris won the election because he was seen as someone who could bring and end to the Parliamentary shenanigans and move the country forward. His proroguing of Parliament and bullying of the house was a stroke of genius imo; he knew on it’s own it was draw flack, but he was sending a message to the people that he will get it done. He always had the election in mind. However, he’s a morally vacuous individual with more blind spots than a 1970s British build car and they have been his undoing. Where is the corporate compliance function at Downing Street for example.
Brexit had been in the making for 40 odd years since Major signed the Maastricht Treaty without bringing the people with him.
