I give you three flowers, darling: a tulip, beatyfully coloured, proud and gorgious as I imagine your breasts, a lotus
flower, mysterious and sensual as I imagine your femininity, and an edelweiss, so pure yet so unreachable for me.... Aah Babe,
what will be your next move in our game?

What a strange variation... I looked for it in my ECO and MCO, but
could find nothing near to that. Will ask my friend Jan Hein Donner
through a medium. If he doesn't know, I'm at a loss.

Have you ever read Donner's 'The King, chess pieces' (originally 'De
Koning'😉? Great reading. For as much as I can make an assessment
of the RHPrs psyches, I think this provocative, intelligently hilarious
AND very chessy book, would no doubt THE thing for them! It's the
book I keep reading and rereading. It should be on each chess
player's bookshelf (it already is on many). Not cheap though, but
worth every penny, cent, dime.
I wish he were still alive. He might very well be stirring things up here.
Some of the 'kickers-around' here would be delighted. Believe me!

yes, I read it. Liked also the positional aspect of his games...

In English or in Dutch? I think it's a very unique book. I'm not aware
of anything like it. I also love Tim Crabé's writings.

Dutch. Borrowed it from the chessclub's library I used to play in 15 years ago. Mortsel.
Don't know Tim Crabé's writings.
