Does anyone have nice recipes for home made bread? I am like the cookie monster, except I have a bread fetish. And I don't live in a trash can (I just cleaned my house last week...). I live on bread and make it a lot myself... I just want to experiment more.

Preferably something 'healthy', say with vegetables baked into the bread. Trying to avoid sugars and chocolates. I was thinking of making a bread with chili beans (are they called like that in English?) in it. I am sure this will give a nice taste too. Just a bit scared to actually try it. Or using banana of letting the bread rise (which is nice), that sort of ideas.

Any other ideas (just as long as it is vegetarian)?

Hazelnuts are really good in homemade bread.

Rosemary and garlic. Slice the hot bread and dip in some good olive oil.

Kalamata olives are nice in a hearty wheat bread.

Hazelnuts with dades (the fresh ones, not the preserved ones), tried that a week ago. I was the nicest bread I have ever tasted. Well, made, anyway.

Bread with fresh dades, that sure is worth a try for anyone.

The time I tried olives, I failed in making it taste nice. Maybe I should try again, and use different kind of olives. Garlic is a nice idea. Garlic powder, you mean? Or big chunks of garlic?

That sounds terrible!
But sour is good - I would make
Irish soda bread.

Using wholemeal flour, of course.
It's made fast and easily.

Dead fish != part of a vegetarian meal.

But I guess I can fetch some fishy tasting mushroom pseudo-fish thingies from the Asian shops.
