The forums appear to be very slow recently, some days almost waiting for an hour for a fresh post to come through.
I would like to make a pledge that we bring back the Rec system to see if it changes things (and you have to agree it was fun when we had it)
I would like this post to get as many posts as possible in order for Russ to see how many people want it back.

Keep the unlimited recs away as they seem to have managed to stop Red Night and his sidekick (WTF was his name again) from posting as much drivel as they did in the past.
Surely that must outweigh any argument in favour of unlimited recs.
Just once I wish somebody would read what what written π
Edit:
I'd even waste a rec on it. π

I think a lot of people would like to see the individual rec count back but keep the limited amount of recs that people can give.

The fact of the matter is that, along with the S&M brigade, and the Donkeys (suzzaine and SJ spring immediately to mind), Macken helped kill the rec system in the first place, by turning every thread in the forum into some anti establishment/anti BFC rant....Using the rec system as some football of paranoid delusion.
I'd love to see the rec system back, but there ae a couple of points...1. those who are pro-rec system are less likely to have a rec left to use in agreement, where the anti-rec crew will (you would think) still have theirs to rec any similar anti-rec suggestion.
2. Getting things back to normal is immpossible, and those who turned the forum into a ball-less, spiritless mess (i'm not saying it was any wealth of glorious light in the first place), have only themselves to blame.

But what the hell do I know. π
I think there's a sale on somewhere.

Are you that ******* insecure that you need a count next to your name? And I thought that I was the ****** up one round here.
Do you even know what you are arguing for ? I'm damn sure you weren't here to see what life was like with the old rec system, so i'm guessing you're sitting there just hoping what you typed made sense.
